Spring quilting

There is something about this time of year that makes me want to quilt. I don't know what it is, but for the last few years, spring comes around and I just want to make a quilt.
This year, I wanted a nice big quick quilt for MY bed (I've made ones for all the kids, one for guests, one each for my mother, step mother and parents in law and one for my niece). So this became a stash buster quilt- using up some of my favourite fabrics. I like a hodge podge of fabrics together against a neutral white field.
And the back is just strips of blue against white in case I feel like a change, or Matt finds it all a bit pink and girly.

Perfect for the warmer nights this time of year- and it goes with my big blanket just in case we need another layer.

  2. That's another lovely variation on a theme. Everyone loves mine here, and I often turn it over and have the whiter side with just a touch of blue and pink,
