We had some swans swimming by with their cygnets the other day. Very cute.
I tried to get close but they swam away in a little line.
Honey desperately wanted to come out and see.
Yes, these photos were taken on the same day. We've had the strangest weather-so wet. Rain every day, and glimpses of sun here and there. Getting down to 14C and up to about 24C-and humid. And grey. A bit sick of it all really. And you can see how long the grass is. My vegetable garden is overrun with weeds, but I've kind of lost interest in it all with all that has been going on. I suppose I will have to brave the ticks and get out there and weed at some stage.
Matt took the whole week off, which I'm glad about. He still feels tired, but he's definitely on the mend. We didn't hear anything back from Ella's blood work, but she too has slowly recovered and is nearly back to her usual self. I think she'll be well enough to go to school tomorrow. I'm wondering if it was all just stress-I've been feeling excessively tired myself the last few days. It really is amazing what worry can do to you.
Only one week of school left and then we can totally kick back and relax for a while. I think we need it.
ahhh, cross fingers Ella is ok. Good to hear Matt is feeling better too. Love CHels
