Thank you

Thanks to those who dropped by to wish Oscar a happy birthday yesterday.  I had intended to do a post about my very special boy turning 15 yesterday, but I had a rather busy day-working at the high school, teaching finger knitting (which I love doing with the 2nd graders so much), racing back to get Ella to the doctor, coming home and then taking Oscar out to buy his itouch birthday present which he paid most of, picking up Chinese for dinner, taking Remi out to get a poster board (because I'd forgotten) and then stopping by the supermarket.  I collapsed into bed in a heap at 9:30.  

And why was I taking Ella to the doctor?...well, Matt and I both think she has Lyme disease too.  She's been getting progressively  more tired for the last week and was a mess yesterday-headaches, achy body, dizzy and just so so tired.  They took a whole heap of blood to test for a myriad of different diseases, so lets hope they find something quickly.  Matt is home-taking it easier than he thought he would as he still gets a little dizzy.

So poor Oscar didn't get much of a fuss made for him for his birthday-not even a cake.  But I did buy them doughnuts to have after school yesterday (which they had while Ella and I were waiting for blood to be taken).  He seemed not to mind too much.  He was thrilled to get his itouch, and we also moved the old computer into his room (it has no internet connection), so that he can use if for homework.
