Just trying to get back into the swing of school and activities again after the lovely (short) break. I had Ella home until FRIDAY. She's still not 100% and has masses of homework to catch up on, but I by Friday she was really ready to go back to school. We spent the week mostly house bound having a Charlie and Lola marathon. I did manage to crochet a little cat just for fun (pattern here). Mine of course looks very different. Not even sure where it is. Ella was playing with it somewhere...
By the time she went back to school on Friday I was very happy to go to my pottery class, although one of the things I'd made, that I really loved, was ready to be bisqued and I bumped it and broke it and had to throw it out. The one thing pottery really teaches you is how to just accept what is. You can't be sad, because there's just no point, and if you've made it once, you can make it again.
And today (Sat) we have snow again. Not masses and masses, but it's been snowing for about 5 hours so far and more is expected tonight. We've had more snow so far this winter than either of the previous winters we've spent here. Matt took Kit and Remi ice fishing today with a friend-they're on their way home now and I can't wait to here how they went.
So that's it, just popping in to say hi really. I have a very busy week next week, so may not be back until next weekend. Take care my friends.
