Got Camp?

It's been a busy week at camp for the kids. Most days I have to pick them up with a gatorade each and something to eat to stop the melt downs in the car on the way home. I drop them off at 8.30, pick them up at 3.30 and during that time they run around outside, do a swim lesson, sail lesson and various otherr things. By the end of last week they were EXHAUSTED.
Here's Kit and Ella in their "Got Camp?" T-shirts they were wearing last Thursday when they went on excursion to a water park all day. (oh, and like our swing made out of an old hose and our neighbours' old swing seat-it stretches when you sit on it)
Remi went to a roller skating rink today with camp (proper old fashioned roller SKATES not blades). He came home covered in bruises (shades of his grandfather), and a swollen elbow. Fortunately we'd taped Cadel Evan's gaining of the yellow jersey in Le Tour de France, so he sat and watched that all afternoon while icing himself. Le Tour is huge in this house, and the boys were out again on the weekend with their bikes doing time trials up and down the drive (the same thing happened last year).

They are loving it, but I think 2 weeks is enough (some kids go for the full 8 weeks!!!). They were very tired this morning when I got them up.

And Oscar is at his first concert tonight. Matt got tickets to see Rush at Jones Beach, and I really wasn't interested, so he took Oscar. They won't get home until after midnight, but I'm looking forward to hearing how he liked it. I still remember the first concert I went to see-with my Dad.

Oh and something funny. When we were getting our new mobile phones sorted a few weeks ago (we were there for ages), Oscar, as a joke, entered Matt and I into a competition for dancing lessons...and yep, we won. I don't even know what kind of dancing it is!!! The woman is going to call tomorrow to set up a time. Should be fun though.

Are we talking Crowded House at Kingston or Blackwood Creek at Bridport? While both bands had fabulous drummers and both could be considered the Snork's first concert.

    GOD

    PS Wait for tonights drawing!

I'm very jealous that I missed a Crowded House concert in Hobart, but probably didn't even know who they were in those days!
