Sunday fun day

Lovely weather today...the rain moved out to a beautiful cool crisp day. We made some Halloween decorations from a template I got here.

Then, after we went out to get Remi's Halloween costume (all will be revealed on Wednesday), we went out for a walk with Honey at the Cove.

Kit was pretty keen to get back on those monkey bars after months of his arm in a cast. Honey made lots of friends with kids and dogs, but was just keen to explore...so off we walked.

Look at these wonderful ghosts in a tree. I had fun posing children...some of these need to be lightened, but I don't have a program that will do it on this computer.

The tide was rushing out over the dam wall. While the boys enjoyed throwing rocks, as boys do.

Ella found these sunglasses on the beach and was acting like a movie star, including the movie star treatment of piggy backs.

A tiny crab that Oscar found.

Then we came home, lit a fire (the boys went out and chopped wood) before having a gorgeous Thai dinner Matt cooked up for us. It's supposed to get down to 1 deg C tonight. BRING IT ON!!!

You are right...throwing rocks is important bloke's stuff... particularly for those who want to be great cricketers or even just cricketers...but you tell Ella girls are allowed to do it as well...I could go on about how it is important for girls to throw like boys but perhaps I had better not.
