Got below freezing last night for the first time this season. -1 deg C. Plus we had the excitement of a power outage, but we just cozied by the fire and candles for a while before deciding we may as well just go to bed. Of course when it came back on all the lights were on downstairs and in the kids rooms, so I had to race around the house at 3 am turning everything off.
So we all rugged up to wait for the school bus this morning. Honey was actually shivering a little -it's the coldest she's ever been in. I came in and searched dog jumper patterns and finally settled on this one (but not in the loud colours-more a camouflage kind of thing with a variegated brown and green yarn). Nearly finished the back. I have no idea if she'll wear it, but it should be fun trying given her obsession with all things woollen...she kept trying to bite my mittens at the bus stop this morning...and she still steals my balls of wool.
Photos tomorrow...it's too dark now and I spent today looking after a sick Matt (and knitting).
Get well Matt, GOD demands it. And on another matter real dogs don't wear jumpers, they are tougher than that, the old Doctor himself, Emma, the new doctor and particularly Rosy all agree on that.
