1. Admire lovely shadows made by Halloween Decorations.
2. Watch the gorgeous sunrise.
3. Spend 15 minutes trying to break into Ella's lock on her money box as she decided this morning was the morning when she must count her money and she's lost the key.
4. Have a long talk with Kit about the state of his homework.
5. Accidently run a red light while totally consumed with thoughts about Kit's homework.
6. Decide that I'm really not cut out for driving.
7. Console myself with knitting and fitting Honey's winter jumper, which I think looks super spunky. (Your dogs don't live in snow, Dad!). I haven't finished the band around the base yet...I've done the leg bands since I took this photo and moved the holes for the legs a bit to give her more range of movement.
8. While doing the usual afternoon running around think that I'll take advantage of the flu shots at the Y (I was really sick with flu last year for weeks).
9. Make Kit re do his homework and make him let me help him with it. He is turning out to be so much like Oscar it is really freaky. Right down to 2 broken arms and bad writing. All the issues I've been through with Oscar are coming back to haunt me. You think as a parent that you get better at it, but I'm not so sure...
10. Listen to kids complain about the pain in their arm from flu shots while hardly being able to use mine.
Must be time for a bath!
Honey looks gorgeous and very tolerant. What a challenging day. Go easy on the driving, though...Have a wonderful Hallowean!
