Busy busy

I just can't seem to get into the swing of it all. When we lived in Sydney I managed to get kids hither and thither for their various activities without a car and for 3 1/2 months on my own while Matt moved over here first. But the last week I have just found EXHAUSTING. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with me going to the gym as most days and doing 3-5 miles on the Xtrainer.

The kids even had Thursday off...but I had to drive Mum, and her friend who is staying with us too, to Greenwich (I had no real idea how to get there) and then when we got home there was more construction going on in our yard, so we went out for a walk in the woods with Honey.
When we got home, Ella had fun working on her "club house" which she has been pottering away on for the last month or so (since we watched Bridge to Terabithia). She has made it all her self...she's put down bark and branches on the floor and arranged the 'furniture'. She is very proud of it and was showing us the other night as it was starting to get dark:

Got to love the Aussie flag.

This is her table with supplies underneath.

And her 'TV' with antennae sticking out.

Got to love that girl.

Yesterday was back to school and it was a busy day. Gym in the morning, driving Mum and Colleen around, back home for 10 minutes, up to school to Kit's 1st cub scout meeting (parents have to attend all meetings), back home to pick up everyone, stop to pick up Oscar's friend, drop everyone except Ella up to school where there was a very fun function, and off to drop Ella at Gymnastics. But this time I decided I needed a Pepsi just to keep going...but when I went to buy one, my wallet had disappeared. So then it was a series of frantic phone calls, a trip back to where I had lunch, a total search of the car and all to no avail. By that time Ella had finished gym and I had to drive back to school and relieve mum who walked home. We stayed until 8 pm, but my heart wasn't really with it as I was so stressed about my wallet. I just can't think how I could have possibly lost it. IF it did fall out, then it would have been at school, and this is the kind of town where people will return things. But I was just so worried about cancelling my card and getting a new one sent out BEFORE we go to Paris next week....I just HATE loosing my wallet, it makes you feel so sick! Looking forward to having a break this weekend...otherwise I'll not be wanting to do anything by the time we get to Paris.

Have you tried the bus company? I have it on very good authority they are very good at finding wallets...that is my experience of Wallet losing in CT.
Also there is a Telle screen in the dash board of that car which tells you how to go places...so you shouldn't have any trouble going places.
Good to see Honey went for a real walk...see any amazing animals?
A big hug for a cute and clever arty type little Ella from grumps.
