break

Kit had his first appointment with the specialist here today after his break. The doctor who set his arm in Ithaca said to wait between 10 and 20 days before getting him looked at again. Which I dutifully did; 15 days today.
And guess what? The bone had shifted.
So he was back in for surgery today...and even though they operated and pressed on it, it was already healing so the doctor couldn't straighten it properly without rebreaking it which he is reluctant to do. What a day! And Kit had a hard time coming out of the anesthetic...by the time they got me in there he was sobbing uncontrollably as he woke up and didn't know where he was.
Super stressful.
