Beach

Simply GORGEOUS weather today...a last hoorah before proper September weather sets in I suspect. Oscar, Ella, Mum, Honey and I went down to the Cove. First time we could without paying $20 parking as summer officially ended last week. Mum, Oscar and Ella went for a swim (that's them with the 2 heads bobbing above the water in the right hand corner). But I really took this photo as a huge blimp floated by (left hand side-looks like a UFO).
Honey had her first trip to the beach (first time she's been allowed) and was OK in the water, but she's not what I'd call a water dog. She then went and buried her nose in the sand and sneezed lots.
And here's Ella posing with her shell castle she made. She didn't want to leave, so I had to take a photo.

Then we walked around to show mum the view of the pond looking back at our house...I was only allowed to photograph her back (I'll get her at some stage).

Then Ella wanted a photo of her too...not sure what she's doing with her bathers...

Busy day...finished off with a lovely BBQ outside tonight (no Dad we didn't use our special Xmas pressie...we've tried it and it just doesn't work over our BBQ). Supposed to be rain coming through tomorrow (first time in about 3 weeks!) so it's really great to have had a good day at the beach with Mum.
