A busy couple of days...

On Monday Kit and Remi decided to hold their own "tour de France" up and down our drive. For 4 hours or more they were at it in the stinking heat and must have ridden at least 20 miles. They conned Ella into being the "support car" on her bike and bringing them food and drinks. Needless to say they were shattered by the end of the day and Remi was complaining of very stiff legs yesterday. Here they are after finishing "stage 11". And, inspired by Aussie Cadel Evans' 2nd place, they gave themseves Aussie bike riders' names.
Meanwhile, I'd been on a made tidy up clear out of the study and had tossed some origami paper that I have had for YEARS (never touched). Kit grabbed it and within a few minutes had worked out how to make paper puppies from a book. This led to a origami puppy making frenzy with Kit and Ella (this was before the big race).
After a session with the paints, I found this:

Ella sitting out with Honey and all the paper puppies in a crate with a sign saying "puppy adoption" (pupy udopshin). The dalmation is my favourite!

What was Honey doing while the Tour de Purdy was on?
My Dad isn't allowed to go for bike rides because that would be using good walking time.
