It must be love

It's been so nice watching the kids bond with Honey. They are all so much in love with her. I spent about an hour just watching Oscar and Remi playing with her this morning. She's been so tired the last few days, and yesterday was really hot so she just kept flopping. But she's found some energy today and has been running around. These pictures were taken just as she started to get sleepy.

Kit was happy cuddling with her as she fell asleep. They call it puppy love.

I realise that it has been so long since I've posted any kind of crafting. Truth is I've done nothing. With the kids off school, my routine is very different, and I am enjoying spending most of my day reading (re-reading Phillip Pulman's His Dark Materials trilogy), and now spending a lot of time looking after a puppy.

I had intended to re read all of the Harry Potter books before the new one comes out, but I've not been able to read as much since the puppy and I doubt I'll get through them all...we'll see. Oscar commented to me that I don't remember very much of what I read, and he's right. I read quickly and I really get into the books I read, but give it a couple of months and I forget most of it. But the beauty of that is that I can quite happily re read books. Oscar, who has a memory like an elephant, remembers everything he reads...he read Lord of the Rings when he was 9 and I can still ask him questions about it.
