16 July, 2007

I should have posted yesterday, but I had the loveliest, laziest of days churning through Harry Potter book 6. I even did a little knitting while watching Le Tour De France-something that has taken over our house again this year.

But why yesterday? Well the 15th of July marks our 1 year anniversary of being in Connecticut. I whole year. I am looking forward to this next year, as I always find the first year the hardest. We did have Matt's "boss" and family around on Saturday night for a "Bastille day" celebration which also marked the day we left Australia, so we didn't let it slip by totally uncelebrated.

    Hi Georgia,

Congratulations on being there for a year now. I can't wait to come and meet you all in person and just want to say go and get a cooking thermometer and we'll make fudge when we come (oh and some evaporated milk).
