Falls

After going to Cornell, we went to see the most amazing falls. It was cold and flurries of snow were falling almost constantly though very little settled. The falls are higher than Niagra and very impressive...particularly with the spray freezing all over the rocks.

First we drove up to the top of the falls and looked down on them. The snow was falling quite heavily then.

Chels and I were constantly behind the camera lens...here was a double snap.
We were starting to get hungry so Dave took us to this great little diner overlooking the lake...cheap and cheerful.
And after we were refreshed with food we went back out into the cold for the walk up to the falls.

Our kids ran on ahead, but Dave and Chels had two of theirs unwell and brought up the rear.

The view of the falls from below was spectacular and we were all covered in freezing spray. It was snowing on and off too, but looked amazing when the sun came out for a brief moment.
