moods of grey

As I said yesterday, we had a gorgeous morning up at the cove. It was so mild and sunny (still a nice stiff breeze though) and people were out in droves. We walked around to a point we hadn't been to before. Usually it's covered in water, but the tide was way out and we were able to walk out to an island kind of thing. There were still patches of snow on the ground. I just love the colour palette with the blues, greys and greens and the blinding sun reflecting off the water.
The kids loved leaping over the rocks, investigating muscle beds, throwing sticks in the water where the water gushes over the dam at the end of our pond and they even found this long plank of wood to make a bridge out to a tiny island. Kit, of course, landed in the water and got wet. I had a wonderful time with my 2 cameras. Everytime I get my proper pentax out it just fills me with joy. I forget how much I love taking photos with it...I get stuck on the instant gratification of the digital.
