This is Ella's new hamster who she has called "Winter". She is a winter white breed and will go more white in winter than the rest of the year apparently. She is super cute...a little fat ball of fluff. She is so soft that you can hardly feel her fur. Ella is beside herself with joy of course (and Kit and Remi are pretty besotted too.) She is tiny at the moment, only slightly rounder than a mouse and it was very difficult to take a photo of her as she kept moving.
As for the real winter with that white stuff called snow....NUP!
I would have thought Purdy could also have been an appropriate name...perhaps even Winter Purdy given that long pet names are something special, but I suppose that would involve taking off a leg...anyway at least you are lucky it is not snowing.
