Masses and masses of candy
Or should that be masses and masses of cavities?!
We went out for about an hour last night...fairly early as we ready for dinner and had a headache, so I wasn't really in the mood (as you can probably tell from the photo). Plus my wise cracking husband was making all sorts of comments about gay bikers and getting a glimpse of his future (hmm...that all sounds a bit cryptic...about Oscar and me).
Anyway, I finally dragged the kids home about 6:15 for some dinner. We'd actually had a lot of fun and they kept running into other kids they knew from school and the bus. But we'd been home for all of two minutes (just enough time to tip the goodies all over the floor and start counting) when the girls from next door who are older came to ask my kids if they wanted to go out trick or treating with them. Of course they were up for it, so off they went for another hour and doubled their takings. Fortunately the girls knew of a different street to go to. So I think they had lots of fun.
Now they have a stash of lollies in their rooms. I know the chocolate ones won't last long...Matt was asking for tolls to let the kids back into the house...And hardly anyone ventured down our lane, so our candy bowl is still full too. UGH! The sugar!

Remi is SOOOO cool! And where did Oscar get that shirt!!! You guys look awesome! Are you a Granny George or a witch??? You look fantastic....did Matt dress up?? Well, Halloween quietly slipped right on by here and we didnt dress up, the girls didnt notice, and we have NO candy in the house...nada! Im kinda relieved. They dont celebrate it here! But I am wondering what Day of the Dead will bring in 2 nights.. we will dress up then.....
ReplyDeleteYou all look great - maybe Matt was thinking that's how you'll look when you are an old granny with grey hair??? Very scarey. Love the costumes. Don't eat all the lollies at once...
ReplyDeletePeg loved these photos, especially Ella as the skeleton and Oscar with the moustache. We were wondering whether Remi is the ghost of cricketers past?
