Yesterday we had the annual block party for out little neighbourhood over the side at our neighbours with the pool. Lots of fun. All the kids went in the pool even though it was quite cool. Later there was the egg tossing competition and the "talent" quest (Oscar, Remi and Kit all did dives-Ella was too shy). Everyone won a prize. What a nice welcome to the "hood".
We've also been feeling a bit sad about Steve Irwin. He really was idolised by the kids, and they were very shocked. What was very surprising is how EVERYONE has been talking about it here. It's a real loss to the world.
