Home again, Home again Jiggity Jig!

So they made it home alive and I was there with the camera to catch them running off the bus to see me. The bus took AGES. They get out at 3.oo and they got off the bus at 3.50! But Remi said it took nearly 1/2 hour just to get everyone loaded on to the buses.
Oscar got home first...not long after 3.oo but he walks back a different way, so I wasn't able to catch him.
They were all excited when they got home...appears they all loved it and were really happy. Kit had a major melt down and said he hated school and wasn't going back. But he got over it and just now admitted to me that sometimes he just gets angry and says things he doesn't mean and he really did like school and his teacher. Strange boy. Probably had been so good all day he had to let a bit of badness out!

They were all thrilled with their school supplies I bought for them today. Oscar had even done his homework before the others got off the bus! But most of all they are all coveting my new toy (see the top of the post- haven't quite worked out how to get the photos where I want them). I have wanted a lable maker like this for so long (yes it says alot about me, I KNOW!) and couldn't resist it for only $29.99 in Staples today (they are about $80 in AUS). Needless to say all school supplies have been thoroughly labled. I had to stop Kit from using it as he wanted to put lables like "computer" on the computer etc. It is a nifty little gadget.
Must get kids to bed. Another early start tomorrow and then a 3 day weekend. THAT'S the way to start the school year!

Ollie and I are so glad that the kids all like their new schools and that Oscar likes his home-work. It looks like fun travelling on the school bus.

Oliver said- I just noticed that Oscar had black hair in some of the photos. I like it better now it's brown again.
(I liked it black too, said Nanny)
I really like Pinkle because she's very black and soft. Pinkle likes me and lets me hold her for a little bit.
    (we're working on it, Nanny)
