THIS IS NOT MY BATHROOM. Just to clear that up. But I am so inspired by this photo. I just LOVE how the tub has been painted like that. And that is the exact colour that I had in mind for my VT bathroom with my big clawfoot tub on an angle in it. And there is already a similar chandelier in my bathroom. I had been thinking about painting the walls turquoise with a picture rail and white above as the ceiling is very high, but now I'm thinking about this with the wall white at the bottom. Unfortunately for now I will have to live with the painted cream and white checkerboard floor in my bathroom, but I'm looking forward to having a go at the bathroom this weekend. This is kind of what it looks like now...except that I have removed the toile wallpaper from that wall.

I loved that bathroom too, George. I have to thank you for putting the Desire to Inspire link on your blog - I check it religiously now and save a heap of money on magazines. Steve and I got seriously interested in the little cottage on 6 acres just out of Daylesford. Fortunately we're over it now...
