Ella hung the stockings from the walkway with care (that's become the place to dump all my tools and paint!)
While the tree was placed by the window. I always think the neighbours should be able to see the tree. I do have to keep the therma backed curtains closed at night though- that room is like a fridge!
The tree is simply decorated really. Ella and I collected masses of little pine cones which we then covered in various silver/white/blue/green glitter. And then there is my collection of snowflakes from the Met. I've been collecting them since we moved to New York way back in 2001. I think I have the 2000 one as well. And a few other silver ornaments that I've collected mostly from craft fairs. Very simple decorations as I'm still de Christmasing the house from when we bought it.
simple is the new absolutely beautiful you know...i still dont have a Christmas tree up...gggrrrrr Christmas Grinch me!!!!!
