more of summer

Today is another gorgeous day- finally not too hot (I am so sick of being sweaty every day) and lovely and breezy. It's amazing how a day like this gets the kids outside to play, but when it's TOO TOO hot they are all so lethargic.

So my knitting is coming along...
The washing is drying so quickly today. I love the flap flap sound of washing on the line...

This year, for some reason, we have masses of blue crabs in the pond. Honey is fascinated by them and never wants to chase sticks any more- she just tries to get the crabs (always unsuccessfully).

This "beach" is right out the front of our place- such a shame that everything is so icky. Ella's wearing my crocs in the water. Honey had to be washed off with the hose afterwards as the mud is stinky and disgusting and black.

So there you are- just to prove we are all still here.

  4. those wonderful summer days ...so relaxing...isnt it nice you can forget about the work for a bit ...or is it that it gets done quicker because the washing dries so fast and we seem to wear less that needs to be ironed...the kids are outside and not messing up the inside of the house??????
anyway whatever it is ...bring on summer here!!!!
