Still here- been busy the last few days moving Kit into his own room. Well, I say "ROOM", but it doesn't have a door. It's more like his own area. We have been discussing for ages that he and Ella were getting to the point where sharing a room wasn't really working. But the other two boys don't want to share with anyone. Kit decided he'd be happy to move to the landing at the top of the stairs and just have basically his bed and a desk in there- almost like a cell.
We moved a bookcase across half the opening to create a sort of wall and at the moment he has a sheet pinned up, although I want to put some curtains so he can close himself off. I may need to just buy another green sheet and make some as I haven't found anything I want, and we do still need some light to come through into the hallway.
There's not masses of room, but so far he loves it. I'm going to have to get a little desk to put in there. What he likes most is that as he has nothing in there he's able to keep it relatively tidy.
Ella then has a big room to herself, but we moved down all the toys from the attic (she's the only one who still plays with toys), and took the 2nd tv up to the attic and turned that into a TV hangout/gaming area.
good one, and congratulations to Kip...Kit...surely a big photo of the Phantom should be on his wall...
ReplyDeleteI think it looks good too. Kit won't know himself. Ella's bedroom looks so beautiful with all those lanterns. And so does the attic. It's so good to get organised and clean up, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAnd Lily cat is a hoot sleeping in a plastic bag & on the chair. I wonder if it's because those places are cooler?
