So what have I been up to this week...ummm...not much really. I've been going hard at the gym (the toe is still very painful, but the endorphins work and I'm absolutely terrified of putting all that weight I've lost back on, so I will put up with the pain), doing my piano practice (I decided that since we now have a key board I really should teach myself) and er, ah, not much else. Which is why I haven't been blogging. Just thought I'd pop by quickly so no one thinks I've fallen off the planet.

Not to go about the weather
BUT....it's been miserable. Since I last posted there has been rain, continual rain and cold. I don't really have anything against rain, but when it's so cold (under 5C) and wet, the only way to describe it is MISERABLE. It's supposed to turn to snow later today and be loads tomorrow, but we'll see.

Us new/old uni students always check your blog before off to uni, and it is lovely when there is rain somewhere don't ever complain about rain unless you intend to go and live in Bangladesh. Oh, I am trying to learn to SMS like a real 21st century uni student, that seems to be the first essential new skill needed.
ReplyDeleteoh am am so glad we live here in Tassie... but i reckon it will be a cold one for us this year in this little house with no heater(i think the landlord might get us one before the real winter sets in though)
ReplyDeletethe little girl has just gone home with Daddy so we are a bit at a loss...but i guess she will return now that mum knows she is OK here for a few days at least...
got all the lipstick out of the carpet just have to get the eucalyptus oil out now...
have to throw the doona cover though ,...have washed it three times with no luck...
Yup, rain sounds good to me, George. Phoned a woman in Balranald at work today and we had to hang up cos of the storm and lightning, so I'm hoping it's heading east. I'm off to Adelaide tomorrow for a cuppla days.
