And there were loads of snowball fights...
And lots and lots of pushing balls all over the field to make them really big. They were REALLY heavy to lift.
It's not often you get snow like that here- it was the first time the kids had done it.
The boys enjoyed destroying everything and having full blown snow in the face snowball wars...
While the girls spent ages making snow men, dogs and monsters (and then getting really grumpy when the boys kept trying to wreck them). We ended up teaching a whole bunch of kids how to roll balls to make snow men. It was fun.
Tonight we're being tortured with the gorgeous smells of lamb roast that Matt is cooking us for our new years dinner...thinking about going skiing tomorrow so it may be an early-ish night tonight.

it seems so bizzare to see you making a snowman when we are cooking in 30oc here and swimming at the beach... it looked like the you guys were having so much fun with what snow you had..but i guess there is more to come!!!!so enjoy...
