418

OOOOH my frazzled brain! I've done 418 squares (only 1062 to go-I got my figures wrong before, I only need 1480, not 1780)
But the really hard thing-the thing I find very challenging is getting all my seams facing the same way AND getting all the triangle lines going in the same direction. Sounds easy... but it's NOT!! Especially when I'm not just doing line after line, but trying to go around the original square I had.

I think doing it this way helps with the randomness of the squares and enabling me to spread the different fabrics around more.
I am enjoying this though. It's just too hot up in the attic to sew all day. And the weather has been gorgeous the last few days and with the ridiculously lame summer we've had this year, we really need to be outside making the most of every single nice day.

I am lovin this quilt Georgia... the more i see the more i like... an... yes the swinging bridge is still there over the Gorge and it still wobbles when you go over it...i will have to take some pics for you but right now (saturday that is ) it was closed to the public because of the floods....
