For some reason, she got the biggest horse , "with a huge bum", but she was awesome up there, not in the slightest bit scared.
This was my lovely horse. It's been maybe 20 years since I last rode a horse, maybe longer, although I used to be able to ride quite confidently. I've never ridden American style though, so steering my horse (who only wanted to go home and eat) was a little challenging.
We rode through some gorgeous countryside. I'd loved to have taken photos the whole way, but my little camera was in my back pocket and a little tricky to get in and out.
Ella had a ball and wants to go again.
Then we had a lovely slow afternoon stopping in at galleries and antique shops until we met up with the boys who'd gone off to Bromley Thrill Zone for some fast runs down the alpine slide.
Of course, not long after Ella and I arrived, both Matt and Oscar stacked and came out covered in burn/grazes...JUST LIKE THEY DID LAST TIME!!!!
Silly boys!
