"What does Connecticut have to offer us?"

"Lyme disease."
"Thank you, Melman."

That's from the movie Madagascar.  And the reality of it is Scary.
Matt's in hospital with Lyme disease that has attacked his heart.  He's doing ok, and we hope to have him home by Saturday.  Of course it's been a bit worrying for the kids to have me tell them that I had to take their dad to emergency because there was something wrong with his heart.  And me.  But we've had the Lyme confirmed tonight so hopefully after a full six weeks of treatment (at home) he should be ok.  But now I am totally paranoid about ticks in the garden.  We didn't even know Matt had a tick, and Ella had 2 tick bites in the last few weeks.  And we haven't been anywhere except out in the garden!
