Sew?
Isn't it always the way? Today I had a day off from all my numerous commitments (or so I thought-there was a mix up for one of the things I do and I had to cover someone at the last minute). All I wanted to do was sew. I haven't revved up my sewing machine (except for mending knee holes, taking in ballet costumes, making things that had to be made-like the bags) for a while and I really wanted to make something fun. I wanted to play. So up I went to my studio and chose some fabric combinations to make some PJs for Ella and another idea for a big canvas bag using the kids' past karate belts as handles. But my sewing machine would NOT co operate. I've been having problems with my bobbin slipping around everywhere and it all getting caught up. SUPER frustrating! So I think I'm going to have to take it in to get fixed. Ho hum! Right in the middle of me needing a serious sewing fix! Bummer.
