I wanted to take these photos on Wednesday when the sun was out. The gardeners had come on Wednesday morning and blown all the leaves away, and by the time I got home in the afternoon the whole lawn was covered in leaves again.
Then the rains came, and it's terrible driving around at night in the rain...you can't even see the road! But it is still so beautiful. The whole world glows gorgeous golden yellow.
Honey loves it too, as she's camoflaged. Gives her a better chance of sneaking up on Squirrels. She is obsessed with chasing squirrels at the moment she brings one paw up and then she's off like a greyhound. The squirrels are still faster, but she'll chase them anywhere...and there's no fences around.
I suspect with all the rain (and WARM weather) we've been having the leaves won't last for much longer
It looks gorgeous and I can imagine Honey having fun with those squirrels!
