My new negative heel "earth shoes". These feel so good for my knees. I love them.
3. Watching Le Tour. Not only watching it and loving seeing Cadel Evans in Yellow, but watching how it inspires the kids.
4. Honey all wet after being squirted with the hose. This is a game she will only play when she is really hot. I also like seeing her outside as the amount of hair she sheds is un-believable.
5. My new DROPS pattern and super soft and lushious alpaca fingering weight yarn . I so love knitting with this, even though I'm not used to such a fine yarn and it seems to take ages to grow. The colour is actually like this. I can't wait to finish this pattern- I love the cardigan shaping so much. It will be perfect for autumn. And to carry around my Garn Studio 's collection, my lovely canvas bag from the Vigeland museum, I picked up from Norway last year.
Oh and Matt and I had our dance lesson last night. It was very strange. We were only allowed to do a training hold, and she held on to us the whole time while she counted. Every time I looked at Matt I just cracked up. I couldn't take it seriously. But we've signed up for 4 more...We're not allowed to practise before our next lesson because we might do it wrong.

The summer weather sounds gorgeous - just what we all need in cold Tassie!
ReplyDeleteI hope the kids can have a great rest now as those photos after Summer Camp had them looking exhausted. Enjoy and keep us informed about the dance lessons cause I'm really intrigued as to what kind of dancing it will turn out to be!
Dancing should come absolutely naturally to the daughter of GOD...don't know about Matt though...could be a bit tough for Matt
ReplyDeleteGosh, that chap on the Vigeland Museum homepage is a dead ringer for The Eagle...
ReplyDeleteI'd also like to know what kind of dancing it is. I take it they are private lessons and she didn't have to hold on to all the couples.

Dave said "why didnt you take an umbrella"! I need three hands!!! TAke your camera to dance class!!!! Love the pic of Bella looking all relaxed and dreamy.
