They are still a little too puckery, so I think I'm going to have to change the way I do it a little. When Rem next wears his I'll try and get a photo.
I have a few more to do but all sewing is on hold for a week to let my wrist recover. It was getting really bad until I remembered magnets! I gave it a go with a magnetic bracelet and the improvement the next day was unbelievable. So I made a few more and I'm all magneted up now. I can even get through the day without the wrist band, although I'm noticing a bit of pain typing this. I had to buy myself some new books to read to keep me from my sewing as I've just bought some gorgeous fabrics and my mind is ticking over constantly.
And some more photos of Lilly, or Silly Lilly as she often gets called, just because she is so damn cute and funny. Don't get me wrong, Leila is gorgeous too, but she's claimed herself as my cat (she follows me around the house) where as Lilly is the kids' cat. Ella in particular carries her around like she's a baby.
And evidence of her silliness: one of her favourite things to do is to climb on the chairs like this so she can chase her own tail.
Oh and did you SEE all the scabs all over Ella's arms and head. Accidental cat scratches mostly (these cats never scratch on purpose) that she CONSTANTLY picks. She comes home from school covered in bandaids from the school nurse.
T-shirts are lovely! I see what you mean about the shape of the pink one but I like the cap sleeves. Jack wouldn't manage without the magnetic bracelet. I wish magnets would help my poorly thumbs - the right one in particular. Before I get out of bed each morning, I make sure I stretch and loosen them - lots of movement and gradually the pain subsides. Probably arthritis - my big toes get sore sometimes. Jack said gout! - but only old people get that don't they - definitely not me.... tee hee.. Lyn x
