And dinner...stir fry with tofu and brown rice. For the last few weeks we've been eating mostly vegetarian, at least during the week. The kids are getting much better at trying new things.
And since it was so lovely we were all reluctant to go inside...perfect photo taking weather and light.
Daffodils at the front of the house.
The lovely light shining through the reeds.
Sunlight reflecting off the pond. I wish so much that we could stand on that "beach" but it's all sludgy and disgusting.
A boy and his dog. Rem is so good with Honey and gets up and takes her out every morning. Strange to think that once he was terrified of dogs. Rem's all revved up for the summer and has started checking which fish are in the pond already.

And then the kids pottered around the garden in bare feet until about 7pm. They were playing with all the logs and sticks from the tree that fell over in the wind. It's been cut into pieces, but everything was there.
*I still have that mark on my camera lens...doesn't make any difference no matter how many times I clean it*
And lastly the pansies I planted in the sun yesterday. I can't wait until all the tulips come up around them.
Unfortunately we're back to cool grey days and rain for the next few days, but that little blast of sunshine has made remember how much I love living in this house in the summer time.
Oh, and thanks Grandma for our Australian Cadbury chocolate that arrived today. Not so good for our health kick, but OH SO appreciated!!!!!
How lovely! We just got more snow..
ReplyDeleteThat's more like it! Sunshine, good food and relaxing days. Don't forget to plant all the vegies again too! I think Remi's and Honey's profiles are similar. That's how I remember your lovely house and the pond- with sun shining and birds. How gorgeous - enjoy the spring and the spring flowers. mumxxx
