Works completed and works in progress

I was sorting out my knitting basket today and I discovered all the things I've been working on lately. I thought it would be fun to share.

Firstly, stuff I've finished but haven't put on the blog yet:
Ella's vest.

My scarf I made last weekend.

The Christmas cards I made this weekend.

Works in progress:
This poncho I started for Ella ages ago. It's a knitted wave pattern which I've never done before. I kind of started it to learn the pattern and then got bored with it. She really wants me to finish it though...

My cardigan which I'm designing myself. I'm happy with it so far. It's nicely fitted. I haven't blocked it yet. But I'm at the stage where I have to work out how to get the arms to fit, and I need to spin some more of the orangy wool for the cuffs.

And my little hexagons...so many more to do.

And finally this scarf which is crocheted and taking FOREVER. But I love the effect of the stripes, so I just do a bit now and then. I'm not sure if it's for me or someone else yet...

Oscar asked me the other day to knit him a jumper so I'm just waiting for the wool I ordered...I feel quite honoured that he asked me. Plus I want to knit myself a Tam O' Shanter...which always makes me thing of Beatrix Potter. I have to be careful not to have too many things on the go...

It was me who asked for the pattern Georgia. Thank you so much, it is a great way of using up oddments, and of not feeling guilty while watching TV! I'll start practising tonight.
