And I finally got my snow in the grave yard photo. This is on one side of our "lane"...lots of old New England graves. I think the cemetary dates back to the 1780s.
And here's the kids having fun in the snow. It was quite wet, so the kids were able to do that classic thing of rolling the snow into balls (and throw them at each other). I love how even the work site at the back (no front :) of our house is even transformed into something beautiful.
This is the back (no front) of our house...the other side faces the water and is architecturally the front of the house...this is the side that faces our lane (driveway) and the building site and would work quite well as a house front if the other side wasn't.
This is Ella's "snow mouse" although I think it looks a lot more like a snow Hamster...That ball of snow was about all that was left when they got home from school today.
And this is some of my natural dyed wool that I have FINALLY begun to spin up. I have to say that this is not one of my best spinnings...I think I plied it wrongly somehow. But I love the autumnal colours and I have MASSES more to spin...starting to wonder if I should get myself a spinning wheel for my birthday in a few weeks...hmmm....
I love the colour of the wool, and will await the creative product that comes out of it. Your house looked absolutely gorgeous in the snow - even if it was the back!
