I have been very busy for the last week making all sorts of things for our swap which I can't show here or it will spoil the surprise, but I can show these which I have become quite addicted to making. I was sitting the other night with idle hands, picked up a bit of wool and a crochet hook and had a play. The first few I made weren't quite right, but I found that by actually using mathematics (shock horror!) I could work out how to make the 5 petal flowers. I want to put them onto hair bands and find other uses for them. Lots of fun and very retro!

I dont know how you have the patience. I love the flowers so much...imagine a blanket with them all over...so cute. So I knitted for over an hour the other night and the next morning while I was teaching Hattie pulled the needle out and tugged it all apart. So much wasted time!!!! But I will persist!!!!
