A room of my own...almost

Dad's bed was hardly cold before I had started sorting out MY room (yes, and your's too Matt...we'll share it...I'm sure we will...). Massive sort out, even down to all my papers (have I mentioned how much I LOVE paper?). It doesn't look like much right now...it's in need of a desk for the computer and a book shelf. But it's still so exciting! To have my table set up with everything in reach is SO NEW and WONDERRFUL!!!!

I even had a bit of time to start on a little album about this house and the fun we are having here. Considering that the landlord is adament that he will be "developing" this land (ie totalling the house) when we move out, and that it has stood for nearly 200 years, I feel that I owe it to the house's memory to record our happy times here.

Oh, and it's not just my room...within minutes of getting home from school and discovering all all the craft stuff easily accessible, Ella was in there making halloween decorations...then Kit joined in! Oh well at least it's contained now.

Oh how sad the house has a limited life. It looks so beautiful. Couldn't you buy it and move it to a plot of land somewhere?

I like the way my music room became a craft room...
