Halloween Parade

Went up to school this morning for Ella's Halloween parade. Some of the costumes were so over the top, but the kindies and 1st graders put on a lovely little show with songs and actions. The rest of the school came out to watch. I found Kit who was wearing orange and black but couldn't find Remi.

Ella loved having me in her classroom and I stayed to help her get changed afterwards. We'll do make up for the skeleton costume tonight, but I didn't want her to be in it all day and have it smudged all over her face.

Fortunately the weather today is superb! It's 19 degrees now (up from 2 this morning) and I've been sitting out in a tank top carving pumpkins!

And here she is back in the classroom with her friend Maggie.

She and Kit are big on the Halloween Hankies (aka do rags) on the head!

How gorgeous! I love Ella's skeleton costume and have copied the photos to show the great grand-parents. What was Kit?- a pumpkin?

  2. Kit didn't dress up as he's in 2nd grade now, but they were allowed to wear black and orange. He dressed up for trick or treating-will post photos later.
