done...kind of


So I've made my vest. It took longer than I'd hoped as I had to spin more wool (and card some fleece for it). I had nearly finished it last night, but it was too small (I always think I'm smaller than I really am). So I spent today knitting side panels and it fits really well, but after trying it on I'm thinking that I might lengthen the purple band another 10 rows ( I hate wearing anything that's too short). But I'm reasonably happy with it. I do love the feel of the wool and it will be super cosy. And I do love the fact that I made it from scratch.
