I ADORE the macro function on my little digital camera. I love how beauty can be found in ordinary things when the perspective is changed. Quite by chance I have a lovely verdigris colour theme going through these shots that I took yesterday. I love to play with these photos...watermarking them on to paper or printing them on a full sheet to use in my paper crafts.
And on the topic of paper crafts...I am ITCHING to get back into it. We now have an activity room upstairs with fabrics and craft supplies etc up there, but at the moment it is being used as a spare room for my Dad. I am dying to get in there and organise things. I think it may become my FAVOURITE room. Yesterday I got my boxes of beads and buttons and charms and various things out just to look at and fondle lovingly. It was probably that which inspired me to go out and photograph!
They look gorgeous! Love the colours. I can see you are about to have a very creative spurt in your new 'studio'. Did you like the rice paper I sent to you from Korea with your dad?
