Painted surfaces

Here is one of the "sheds" on our property. I love looking at the outside of it with it's weathered painted look. I often wonder what it was and why it was put there, so today I opened it up (pulling away all the plants growing in front of it while watching out for poison ivy). It has a lot of junk in it now; old boxes and lots of leaves and cobwebs, but look at the ceiling! Do you think they were hooks to hang meat or fish??? Why else would there be so many hooks in a little shed like that-all over the ceiling. How exciting!

And then there is "our" garage. Yes it is on the property but the landlord uses it to store Xmas decorations and extra crockery etc for the restaurant. Boo Hoo. It would make such an AWESOME artists studio. It even has a chimney. I love it. It's the size of a small Australian house! Anyway...I also love all the peeling paint although I'm not convinced that it's not lead based so I keep saying to the kids "don't touch!"
