Saint David's day

Happy St.David's Day!
I had intended to post a photo or two in honour of this day, but once I got looking at my photos from St. Davids, I got a bit carried away...but honestly, how could I not?











My life seems to be filled with Welsh things these days. Two of the books I'm reading are set in Wales. When we travel to VT, we listen to audio books- usually Doctor Who and the How to Train your Dragon series done by the superbly wonderful David Tennant who not only does and colourful variety of Scottish/West country etc accents, but the most wonderful welsh accent for Kamikazi, one of our favourite characters. If you like audio books, if you enjoy a good chuckle, you have to give this series a go. But make sure you track down the ones done by David Tennant.

And this afternoon I will be making Welsh cakes for afternoon snacks. Yummo. Keep a look out for Welsh Dragons...

    must get that audio for the girls. They still listen to Harry POtter every night!!!! Makes me wanna go to Wales for a holiday...Chels

    That first photo captures St Davids perfectly, George - the mystic Christian side of it. I know I've seen the photos before but I can't help but love them and want to be there.
