Fabric scraps

I've been on a bit of a sewing bender lately. The other day I pulled out my bag of fabric scraps. I keep almost all my fabric scraps-right down to the small ones. I just can't bare to waste anything. I also keep all my old jeans- there's a lot of them stashed away now as I've dropped 3 dress sizes over the last year. And so (sew?...)

A bag made from fabric scraps, denim and canvas. Fully lined, of course, and with a big useful outside pocket. I can fit my ipad in that pocket. I see this as a library bag. Do people still use them? I remember when the kids were at school in Australia and they all had to bring their library bags to school on library day. I think they are such a good idea.
A fabric scraps and denim belt.
And a couple of cushions. Now that I look at them, it doesn't seem like much, but it does take ages to piece together all those scraps of fabric.

  1. At least all this snow is encouraging you to be very creative. Aust children DO have library bags cause my friend Jo made some for her grandchildren recently. They are immensely handy, bags of all sizes - maybe you'll inspire me. Very impressed about the 3 dress sizes. Did you have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe?
