the snowmen are conferring

I stepped out today to go and take some photos and noticed this little group chatting on the door step...the kids tell me we have more snow coming in the next few days and I suspect these three may have something to do with it. Very suspicious if you ask me...

Although it's been sunny and the snow is slowly melting, there is still masses out there. It was super hard work trudging through the snow.
And it's still deeper than the top of my boots.
Poor Honey really struggles to get through it and flounders about everywhere.
But we were rewarded by our hard work as it looks beautiful down by the pond- reflections everywhere.


We walked all the way down to the end.





Honey even went out on the ice.
And had a bit of a roll around on the ice...

And then we trudged back to the house again- following our tracks to make it easier.
Even Honey worked out this was the best way to do it.
Then we warmed up her paws with some socks from the odd sock pile...
And I put my feet back into my super warm furry lined Docs which were part of my birthday boot package (they were on sale and I LOVE them). And now you can see all the mess on my floor. Dumping things from Sunday night when we come back from VT, dumping school bags and sports bags and then there's the weekly pile of things to take up to VT. Things are rather messy around here....
***oh and that hair on the lens- I spent 1/2 hour trying to get rid of it before I went out. I think it's INSIDE the lens somewhere because I can see it, but I can't get rid of it. Don't think it's a scratch as it looks like it's moved. Driving me slightly insane.****
