Ok, time to 'fess up about my birthday boot purchases. All from http://www.dmusastore.com/
I did get my red boots and they are beautiful. I get much more excited about these than any girly heely shoes.
And these are my lovely lined boots (suede) that I've been living in. Perfect everyday shoes and so warm on my cold feet. They were on sale...
And these were my big disappointment. For about 10 years now I've been searching for the perfect long boot- preferably brown. These look even better in real life (they were also on sale). They come all the way up to my knees and are just LOVELY...but I couldn't get the zip up past about 3/4 of the way as my calves are just too honking big!!!! So they have to go back...sigh. And so the search continues....
Hmmm, I have a wife with a similar problem when it comes to boots.

oh bummer! My sister Sarah has the same problem with boot and calves!! Loving them all though! I have some Country Road brown leather boots that I LOVE....Chels
