A vignette I discovered on my mantle. Little marsupials (from Grandma) coming out of one of the many tardises (tardisis?) that Ella makes. Every week, when we do the drive up to VT, we listen to Doctor Who audio books, so we still live a little in that fantasy world.
And speaking of my lovely little Ponky, here she is at ballet. We had observation day last night, so I got to take some photos. The fridge in the background? The room they use also doubles as the town theatre and they had a stage set up.

And a photo of Lilly who hates snow, but wants to go outside. She's out for 2 minutes and then scratching at the window to come back in again. Either that, or she sits by the window dreaming...and then spends the rest of the day curled up in the table cloth draw. hmmm.

Can't beat a good vignette, I reckon. The view from the window doesn't look real - very beautiful. And Ella looks perfectly the part.

And you beat me to putting the Jackie Morris blog up - I was going to do it this weekend. and probably still will.

Love the little Aussie animals, and the tardis is way cool! Love it!
ReplyDeleteElla does look beautiful. My friend says that cats are heat sensors and that's absolutely true - they always seek out the warmest spot - and then go to sleep. I think we could follow their example. Pinkle (Georgia's cat previously when they lived in Aust) is currently curled up on a cushion on my window seat, (the warmest place) but as soon as I leave for work, she miaows at the nighbour's door, and goes in there for the day, where she sleeps on an ottoman in their bedroom window in the sun.
