sitting by the window

If I'm really lucky, and sit right up against the window in our house (the computer is resting on the window ledge) I can get a very weak wifi signal from our neighbours (we have permission).

We're having such a lovely slow paced Christmas break. Sleeping in, laying in bed when we wake up rather than jumping out of bed, I've been having gorgeous hot baths in the mornings-laying there listening to audio books- HEAVEN!

We've had a dump of snow, there's been sledding, and walks and even a trip to Dartmouth hospital to find out that Kit DID NOT break his arm (again) when he slipped on the ice. Just a bone bruise- but try and get him to slow down!!! There's been a lot of recovering from a cold that took hold of the family in that last busy time before Christmas. There's been lots of family board game time and reading of Christmas books, playing with Christmas toys- well making of crafts that were received. Lots of keyboard playing and practicing- we brought it up with us and some of us got new piano books for Christmas. We've baked cookies and swapped cookies with neighbours, we've shoveled snow and played in snow. We've even eaten snow. Matt had to go "back down south" to work the last few days, leaving us without a car, but we are hoping to have him back with us late tonight or tomorrow.

I have lots of photos to share, but not sure this internet connection is up to loading photos.
EDIT: While the internet connection was good, I loaded the photos above...

Wishing you all a happy new year...
