trampin'

Last weekend I bought a trampoline for the kids. Matt had asked me what the kids were going to do over the summer...and I was at Walmart...and it was reasonably cheap...so I spent last Sunday putting the thing together. Since then we've either had rubbish weather, or the kids have been too busy. I've been dying to take some action photos of them. Tonight we ate outside and then just as it was getting dark I remembered to get the camera out. I love the blurred photos...

I had a trampoline as a kid- and I did gymnastics. I LOVE trampolines. I love really pushing myself to see if I can still do front and back flips. The ability is still there- it's the fear I have to overcome.

We had a trampoline in Sydney- and OLD very bouncy trampoline- much easier to do flips on. I've spent years trying to teach the kids to do them. And although all the warnings we got with the tramp said not to do flips-you just HAVE to try.

Tonight I did my first back flip landing on my feet- still struggling to land a front one. Remi's the opposite-can land a front, but not a back.

We stayed out until it was nearly dark (these photos are backwards) and until the mosquitoes were getting a bit too nippy. Then we came in. I love crazy family time.
