Kit and Ella had their school winter concert today. They are both in the choir and Kit's in the advanced band which also performed. Ella plays flute in the beginner band so she won't have a concert until the spring.
I was a bit nervous about watching Kit play drums as he NEVER practices. EVER. He has a rehearsal and a lesson once a week and that's it. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. He was awesome. He had much the harder parts out of the two drummers and did a great job.
Then they sang which was fun. Although Kit and Ella both were yawning all the way through...Kit even sneezed
Ella looks like she's about to cry but it's really just from all the yawning and trying not to yawn.
I kept cracking up at her which would make her crack up too.
It was a fun little morning.
I'm yawning right now, just thinking about Ella yawning! This time of year is exhausting, with all the pre-Christmas presentations. So, well done guys to get through it! We're on holidays at the end of this week - yay!!!!
ReplyDeleteMars drummers are known for limited practice, they just prefer the performance, but they practice in their heads all the time.
